Midnight Hostel Exit Caught on CCTV: Suryapet School Faces Safety questions After Viral Video


An incident involving a residential school hostel in Telangana’s Suryapet district has sparked serious concerns over student safety after CCTV footage went viral on social media.


The footage allegedly shows two girl students leaving the hostel around midnight with boys on motorcycles and returning early the next morning. The incident, reportedly captured on the hostel’s CCTV cameras, has raised questions about security arrangements and supervision at the residential school.


Parents and social media users have expressed concern over how students were able to cross the hostel gate unnoticed at night. Many questioned the role of hostel wardens, watchmen and gate control systems, stating that CCTV footage is useful only after incidents occur, while strict monitoring is needed to prevent them.


The incident has reignited debate on hostel safety, student discipline and management accountability. Experts say hostel authorities have a responsibility to ensure proper night supervision, controlled entry and exit, and regular checks to safeguard students.


At the same time, the incident has also highlighted the need for awareness and responsibility among students, stressing that trust placed by parents should not be misused.

Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening.
