A disturbing video of an Indian family has gone viral on social media, showing a father being verbally abused and allegedly assaulted by his daughter in front of his wife. The video has triggered widespread outrage online.


According to claims circulating on X, the mother and daughter allegedly spent the father’s hard-earned savings on gambling and stock market investments. After suffering heavy losses, they reportedly blamed the father for mismanaging finances.


In the video, the daughter is seen hurling abuses at her father, accusing him of failing as a parent and provider. She is also seen pushing him and attempting to hit him, while the mother remains present and appears supportive or silent. The woman filming the incident tries to intervene but is also spoken to rudely.


The exact location of the incident remains unverified. The clip was widely shared in early January 2026 by multiple X accounts, including @NCMIndiaa and @CartelFights, with captions criticising the treatment of the father.


The video has sparked intense debate online, with users condemning gambling and reckless financial behaviour, while others called for the matter to be resolved privately within the family. Many viewers described the clip as a grim reminder of how gambling and speculative investments can destroy families.
