Sex Dispute Turns Fatal: Indore Man Strangles Wife, Confesses After Post-Mortem Shock
Indore (MP): A man has been arrested for allegedly strangling his wife to death in the Aerodrome police station area of Indore, after a post-mortem report revealed that the woman died due to asphyxiation.
The incident came to light when a woman living in the area died under suspicious circumstances. Initially, the accused husband, identified as Madhav Chauhan, informed family members that his wife had died due to illness. However, police ordered a post-mortem examination, which confirmed that the woman had been strangled.
Following the report, police detained Chauhan and subjected him to sustained interrogation, during which he confessed to the crime. According to police, the couple had been living together for the past seven to eight years and frequently argued over minor issues.
During questioning, the accused claimed that repeated domestic arguments and disputes over physical relations caused him severe mental stress. He told police that on the day of the incident, the couple had a heated argument, following which he strangled his wife in a fit of rage.
Based on the post-mortem findings and the confession, police have solved the case and taken the accused into custody. Further investigation is underway.
