Mulayam Family Rift Explodes: Prateek Yadav Announces Divorce, Targets Aparna Yadav in Viral Post

A fresh controversy has surfaced within the Mulayam Singh Yadav family after Prateek Yadav publicly announced his divorce from wife Aparna Yadav through a social media post.

In an Instagram post, Prateek Yadav said he wants to end the marriage at the earliest, accusing Aparna of damaging family relationships and being focused only on increasing her own fame and influence. He claimed he is going through a severe mental health crisis and alleged that his wife showed no concern or understanding. Prateek described her behaviour as “selfish” and said he regrets the marriage.

Following the post, questions have arisen about the circumstances that led to the divorce. However, Aparna Yadav has not issued any official response so far, and it remains unclear whether formal legal proceedings have begun.

Prateek Yadav and Aparna Yadav were married in 2019. Aparna later joined the BJP, contested the Assembly elections, and has remained active in politics and on social media. Prateek has alleged that her political ambitions and publicity-driven approach strained family ties.

The issue has drawn wide attention due to the political divide, with Prateek being the son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Aparna associated with the BJP. The dispute, now in the public domain, has triggered intense discussion on social media and highlighted apparent internal tensions within the Yadav family.
