Miracle or Mere Coincidence? Temple Video from UP Sparks Heated Debate on Faith vs Science
A video from Nandpur village in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, near the Nagina area, is going viral on social media platform X. The footage shows a dog continuously circling the idol of Bajrangbali at a Hanuman temple for three days, according to local residents.
The video caption claims that after roaming the temple premises day and night, the dog sat down briefly, when a pigeon landed on it and reportedly died within moments. Those present were left shocked, with the incident described by some as a “divine play”.
As the video spread online, reactions poured in. Many users called it a miracle of Bajrangbali and linked the dog’s behaviour to devotion, while others dismissed it as a coincidence and a natural phenomenon. Some comments described the incident as emotionally moving, while sceptical voices urged people to apply scientific and logical reasoning before calling it a miracle.
The video has since triggered a wider debate on social media over faith, belief and rational explanation.
