Illicit Affair Turns Fatal: Man Hacked to Death Outside Police Station in Andhra Pradesh

A shocking murder took place in full public view outside Tanakallu Police Station in Sri Sathya Sai district, where a man was brutally killed moments after being released from police custody.

The victim, Iswarappa, a resident of Marpurivandlapalli, was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with the wife of Hari, a resident of Raghinapalli. Four days ago, Iswarappa reportedly took the woman away, following which her husband Hari lodged a missing complaint with the police.

Based on the complaint, police traced Iswarappa and brought him to Tanakallu Police Station for questioning. After completing formalities, he was released on bail.

However, as soon as Iswarappa stepped out of the police station premises, Hari allegedly attacked him with a hunting sickle and killed him on the spot. The incident created panic in the area, as it occurred right in front of police personnel.

Iswarappa’s family has alleged that a head constable at Tanakallu Police Station aided the accused in carrying out the murder. Police have taken the accused into custody and stated that a detailed investigation is underway. Further action will be taken based on the findings.
