Horror in Amroha: Court Employee Beaten to Death in Front of Wife & Kids | Road Rage
A minor car-bike collision escalated into a brutal act of road rage in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district, where a court employee was beaten to death in front of his wife and young children. The shocking incident has triggered widespread outrage across the state.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, January 11, in the Didauli police station area. Rashid Hussain (38), a judicial employee posted at the Civil Judge Junior Division Court in Amroha, was travelling by car with his wife Rukhsar (35), nephew Salman, and their three children to visit relatives in Patti village of Moradabad district.
According to police, when Rashid’s car reached the Bambugarh–Joya bypass, a motorcycle overtook the vehicle from the wrong side and brushed against it. Although the bike did not fall or suffer any damage, the two riders allegedly lost their temper and began arguing with Rashid.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav said that after the initial altercation, one of the bikers called his relatives to the spot. Sensing trouble, Rashid drove away. However, when the car reached the Pathkoi Hussainpur culvert under the Didauli police station area, the same bikers, along with their relatives, chased the car, forced it to stop, dragged Rashid out, and assaulted him brutally.
Eyewitnesses stated that Rashid was beaten with kicks and punches, mainly targeting his chest. His wife and nephew pleaded with the attackers to stop, while his children also cried for help, but the accused allegedly continued the assault. After locals intervened, the attackers fled the scene.
Rashid was rushed to a nearby private hospital and later referred to Moradabad, but he died on the way due to his injuries.
Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand visited the spot and ordered the formation of four police teams to arrest the accused. Based on a complaint filed by nephew Salman, a murder case has been registered at Didauli police station against Kaleem, Shan, Qasim, Naseem, and three unidentified persons, all residents of Hussainpur village. Police said Qasim and Naseem are brothers, while Kaleem and Shan are cousins. Two accused have been taken into custody so far.
A forensic team examined the scene and the vehicle on police instructions. Rashid’s death has plunged the locality into mourning. His wife Rukhsar remains in deep shock, while residents have demanded strict action against those responsible.
