CCTV Horror in Pune: 5-Year-Old Cycling Inside Society Crushed by Car


A five-year-old boy was killed after being run over by a car while riding his bicycle inside a residential society in Pune. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the Loni Kalbhor area and was captured on CCTV.


The deceased was identified as Nishkarsh Ashwat Swami, a resident of Joy Nest Society. According to the police, the child was playing inside the society premises with his grandmother around 3.30 pm when a car entered the complex and hit him.


CCTV visuals show the impact of the collision, following which the car driver stepped out and rushed the injured child to a private hospital. However, doctors declared Nishkarsh dead during treatment.


Based on a complaint filed by the child’s father, Ashwat Narayan Swami, Loni Kalbhor police have registered a case against the driver. Further investigation is underway.
