Beer Bottles at Karbala? Shocking Video from Lucknow’s Religious Site


Lucknow witnessed outrage after a video allegedly showing people consuming beer at a religious site went viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place at the Karbala religious site located in the Madeyganj police station area.


According to local residents, some youths were caught drinking beer at the site, while others tried to flee. Those who were stopped reportedly claimed they were only smoking cigarettes. The video was recorded by locals and later circulated online.


The footage has triggered strong reactions, with allegations that the person recording the video was also hurling abusive language at the religious place. The incident is said to be linked to the Malika Afaq Gar Karbala procession area.


Madeyganj police have taken cognisance of the viral video and stated that efforts are underway to identify those involved using the footage. Police officials confirmed that appropriate legal action will be initiated after identification.
