TDP Woman Leader Sets Fire to YS Jagan’s Birthday Flex in Lepakshi Mandal


A woman leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), identified as Narayanamma, allegedly set fire to a flex banner put up on the occasion of YSR Congress Party chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday.


The incident reportedly occurred around midnight in Mamidimakulapalli village of Lepakshi mandal, which falls under the constituency of TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna. Witnesses said Narayanamma set the flex on fire after noticing that no one was present at the spot.


The act has triggered political tension in the area. Police are said to be verifying the incident and are likely to take action based on the complaint.
