Second Marriage Scam? Singrauli Woman Accuses Husband of Cheating, Theft and Abuse — Appeals Directly to CM Yogi!
A woman from Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, has levelled serious allegations against her second husband, claiming she was deceived, looted and later assaulted. Government employee Amreen Ahmed, originally from Varanasi, married Avinash Yadav of Ghazipur on 29 February 2024 under the Special Marriage Act after the two met and developed a relationship through social media.
According to Amreen, Avinash entered her life years after her first husband’s death, and she believed he would support her and her two children. However, she alleges that Avinash concealed the fact that he was already married. After their court marriage, she claims he took all her savings, jewellery, gold, and even the money she had received after her first husband’s death.
Amreen further alleges that after taking her assets, Avinash began doubting her character and physically assaulting her. She claims he lived with her for three years, but once she confronted him over his behaviour, he abandoned her.
The woman has now approached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Janta Darbar, seeking justice. She states that CM Yogi has assured her that action will be taken. Amreen has demanded that Avinash return her assets and face legal consequences.
She also alleges that Avinash is currently absconding with his first wife and continues to threaten her over the phone. Amreen has registered a case against him at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
