Nalgonda Youth Dies of Heart Attack in US, Village in Mourning


A 24-year-old youth from Nalgonda district, Komatireddy Pawan Reddy, died of a heart attack in the United States in the early hours of Saturday, leaving his family and native village in deep shock.


Pawan, a resident of Mella Duppalapalli village in Nalgonda mandal, reportedly collapsed while spending time with friends on Friday night and suffered a cardiac arrest.


He had gone to the US two years ago to pursue his MS. Recently, he had secured a job with a company and was just two months away from completing his degree.


The sudden demise of the young student at such a young age has plunged his family and villagers into grief, with many expressing sorrow over the untimely loss.

  Barabanki (UP) – A bizarre case from Lonikatra police station area has left locals stunned. Two friends, Anup and Pappu, working in the same private company in Ahmedabad, allegedly exchanged wives. The matter escalated to the extent of court marriage. Pappu alleged that Anup kept his wife Savita with him for the past four months and pressured him to marry Anup’s wife. He even claims he was given ₹10,000 for this arrangement. Anup later performed a court marriage with Pappu’s wife. Meanwhile, Anup’s wife accused him of domestic violence and said she was forced to live with Pappu. She alleged she was told, “Now you two should live together like husband and wife.” Police confirmed both sides failed to reach a compromise. The Bengaluru Police have arrested a techie, Jedrela Jacob Aroop, on charges of cheating, caste-based abuse, assault and mental harassment of his wife. The arrest was made by the DCRE West Division police following a complaint filed by the victim. According to the police, Jacob had been living with his wife in Bengaluru for the past two years. His wife was employed in a reputed private company and earned a salary running into several lakhs of rupees. As Jacob was unemployed, it is alleged that she quit her job and supported him in securing employment. After the birth of their child, Jacob allegedly subjected his wife to caste-based abuse and physical and mental harassment. The complaint further states that he assaulted her in a manner that could have caused a miscarriage.
