Homework Row Turns Fatal: Class 9 Boy Found Dead After Mother’s Reprimand

Mancherial (Telangana): A 14-year-old Class 9 student, Nyalam Akarsh, was found dead at his home in Dandepalli on Monday. Akarsh, a student of a private school, was reportedly reprimanded by his mother, Sridevi, for skipping homework and insisting on playing cricket.

Following the argument, the boy went into a bedroom, locked the door and allegedly ended his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan using a scarf. Family members broke open the door and rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
