GRP Head Constable Thrashes Disabled Man at Nagda Station — Caught on Camera, Public Outrage Erupts!

Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh — A shocking incident at Nagda Railway Station has triggered massive outrage after a video showing a differently-abled man being assaulted by a GRP head constable went viral on social media.

The incident took place around 10 a.m. on Tuesday at platform number 1. The video shows the disabled youth sleeping on the platform with a bag under his head when GRP Head Constable Mansingh approached and began slapping, kicking and punching him without provocation. The victim is later seen running out of the station, crying in pain.

The footage was recorded not by a regular commuter but by a passenger sitting inside an AC coach. Once uploaded online, the video quickly spread across platforms, drawing strong public criticism and demanding strict action.

Following the uproar, the GRP Superintendent of Police immediately suspended Head Constable Mansingh. While asked for clarification, Mansingh claimed the youth was drunk and abusing officers, but the video does not support the need for such excessive force. Citizens have also raised concerns that suspended personnel continue receiving salaries and are demanding a criminal case and arrest instead of mere suspension.
