Chinese Kite String Turns Fatal: Jaunpur School Teacher Dies on Way Home


A school teacher in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, lost his life on Wednesday morning after a Chinese kite string got entangled around his neck. The deceased, Sandeep Tiwari (38), a resident of Nagar Keramatpur and a teacher at a private school, was returning home on his bike after dropping his young daughter at school.


While riding back, a Chinese kite string hanging from above suddenly wrapped around his neck. As he struggled to free himself, he lost control of the bike and fell face down on the road. The razor-sharp string inflicted a deep cut, causing his death on the spot.


Locals rushed him to the district hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead. The incident has sparked anger in the area, with residents alleging that despite the administration’s ban, Chinese kite strings continue to be sold openly in the market.
