Shocking: Mother and Friend Get 180 Years in Jail for Horrific Sexual Abuse of Minor Daughter – Justice or Just Another Case?


A POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court in Manjeri has sentenced a woman and her boyfriend to 180 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually abusing the woman's daughter (12 year old). The convicts have also fine of 11.75 lakh rupees.

Judge A.M. Ashraf ordered that the convicts will have to undergo an additional 20 months in jail if they fail to pay the fine. However, the sentences will run concurrently.

The abuse continued for approximately one year from December 2019 to November 2020 at a rented house in Anamangadu, followed by another year at a house in Vallikkapatta. The court found that the convicts abused the girl after giving her liquor and showing her obscene videos.

The conviction was made under various sections of the POCSO Act.

Agra Woman Threatens Suicide, Levels Allegations Against Police – Officials Call Claims False

  Agra: A serious dispute has emerged between a local woman and Trans Yamuna Police. The complainant, Sarju Yadav of Kalindi Vihar, alleged that police ignored a theft case at her house and behaved indecently with her. She claimed that if justice is not delivered, she may take her own life, holding the station staff and Inspector-in-Charge responsible. She also accused suspended inspector Rajkumar Goswami, earlier linked to her case, of misconduct. Police, however, have given a different version.
