A 16-year-old boy in Kochi took his father’s car for a joyride and crashed into multiple vehicles along the Cherai–Njarakkal road. CCTV footage shows the speeding Innova making a risky U-turn, narrowly missing bikers before colliding.


Police have booked the boy’s father under the Motor Vehicles Act and the minor under the Juvenile Justice Act.

Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening. Police identified the accused as Pappu Lal, a resident of Gajraula, Pilibhit. He had been living at his in-laws’ house for the past ten days. On the day of the incident, his father-in-law and mother-in-law were at work, while Pappu, his wife Jaswanti (21), and her younger brother Tej Prakash (6) were at home. Around 4:30 p.m., after an argument, Pappu attacked Jaswanti with a stone, killing her on the spot. When Tej Prakash witnessed the assault and raised an alarm, he too was fatally attacked. The victim, Saanvi, was taken upstairs on August 27 by her stepmother Radha under the pretext of playing a game. Once on the terrace, Radha allegedly pushed the child to her death.
