Moradabad Murder Over Love Affair: Neighbour Shoots Man Dead After Heated Argument


Nekpal was shot dead by his neighbour, Aman, on Wednesday night.


Police said the incident stemmed from a love affair dispute involving Nekpal’s sister and the accused. Around 9 pm, Aman allegedly shot Nekpal in the chest following a heated argument outside their homes in Ekta Colony, Pritam Nagar.


According to police, Aman and his brother-in-law Raja had earlier assaulted Nekpal’s maternal uncle, Pappu, when he was alone at home. The next day, when Nekpal confronted them, Aman opened fire. Family members rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.


SP City Ranvijay Singh and CO Civil Lines Kuldeep Gupta inspected the spot. A forensic team was also deployed. Police confirmed that Aman had previously eloped with Nekpal’s sister two months ago, leading to an ongoing feud between the two families despite a compromise brokered by locals.


A case has been registered, and police are conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused.

Agra Woman Threatens Suicide, Levels Allegations Against Police – Officials Call Claims False

  Agra: A serious dispute has emerged between a local woman and Trans Yamuna Police. The complainant, Sarju Yadav of Kalindi Vihar, alleged that police ignored a theft case at her house and behaved indecently with her. She claimed that if justice is not delivered, she may take her own life, holding the station staff and Inspector-in-Charge responsible. She also accused suspended inspector Rajkumar Goswami, earlier linked to her case, of misconduct. Police, however, have given a different version.
