Gwalior Shock: 20-Year-Old Youth Ends Life After Being Allegedly Trapped by 36-Year-Old Married Woman
A heartbreaking incident from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has exposed a disturbing tale of deception, emotional manipulation and a young life cut short.
A 20-year-old taxi driver, Javed Khan, died by suicide after being allegedly misled and blackmailed by 36-year-old married woman, Nagina Khan, who is a mother of four.
According to police, Nagina had introduced herself to Javed as a 22-year-old unmarried woman, leading to a relationship that continued for nearly two years. During this period, the two also shared physical intimacy.
Javed eventually discovered that Nagina was not only much older but also married. When he confronted her, she allegedly threatened and blackmailed him, warning that she would falsely implicate him if he tried to end the relationship.
On 7 October, Javed went to Nagina’s house in Kala Saiyyad Gol Pahadiya, where he allegedly hanged himself from an iron grill near the entrance using his scarf.
Nagina reportedly rushed him to JAH Trauma Centre, claiming that he had fainted outside her home. However, doctors found strangulation marks and declared him dead on arrival.
A post-mortem confirmed death by hanging, contradicting Nagina’s version. Based on the family’s statement, police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against her.
Investigators also found that Nagina had lived as a tenant in Javed’s neighbourhood a year ago, where the relationship had begun. She has now been taken into custody for questioning.
