Faridabad Murder Mystery Solved: Wife Plots Husband’s Killing with Lover While Family Away at Wedding

Faridabad, Haryana — Police have cracked a sensational murder case in the NIT police station area, arresting a woman who conspired with her lover to kill her husband.

According to police spokesperson Yashpal Singh, the case came to light after Surajpal, a resident of Krishna Colony, lodged a complaint alleging that his son Arun had died under suspicious circumstances, with visible marks on his neck.

Investigations revealed that Shikha (24), the deceased’s wife, was involved in an illicit relationship with another man. When Arun found out, frequent arguments broke out between the couple.

On November 7, while Shikha’s family was away attending a wedding in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, she allegedly called her lover home. The lover arrived with two associates, and together, they strangled Arun to death with a belt.

After the murder, Shikha phoned her in-laws and falsely claimed that Arun had died after suddenly falling ill. Police later uncovered the truth through technical surveillance and interrogation, leading to her arrest.
