Jodhpur Spa Raid: HIV-Positive Foreign Woman Among Arrested, High-Profile Clients Under Scanner

Jodhpur, Rajasthan – Police raids on two spa centres — Asian Sanga and Sky Step — in Shastri Nagar have exposed illegal activities, sparking a public health scare.

During the raid, 15 people were arrested, including 8 women and 7 men. Among them were 3 foreign nationals from Thailand and Kenya. Shockingly, one of the foreign women tested HIV positive.

Authorities are now urgently tracing her contacts, including clients and associates. Police sources revealed that the spas were frequented by prominent individuals, including outsiders and government officials, raising fears of wider exposure.

Investigations are underway into possible immigration violations, as C-forms of the foreign nationals were found incomplete. Police are also probing brokers and networks linked to the spas.

The revelation has triggered panic across the city, with health officials urging anyone who visited these parlours to undergo HIV testing and counselling.

The case is now being treated as both a law enforcement crackdown and a public health emergency, raising questions about the regulation of spa and massage centres in urban areas.
