Jaipur-Ajmer Highway Horror: LPG Truck Explosion Sparks Massive Fire

Rajasthan — A massive fire erupted on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway near Dudu late on October 7, 2025, after a tanker rammed into a truck carrying LPG cylinders. The collision triggered a chain of powerful explosions, with cylinders hurled hundreds of meters away and flames visible from several kilometers.

At least 4–5 trucks were destroyed. Initial reports varied — some noted one death, while others reported no confirmed fatalities. Two to three people, including the tanker driver, were injured and hospitalized. The drivers of the involved vehicles remain missing as search operations continue.

Firefighters and disaster teams battled the blaze amid repeated blasts, halting traffic for several kilometers. CM Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa oversaw rescue efforts and assured medical aid for the injured.

A similar LPG explosion on the same highway in December 2024 had killed 19 people, raising serious safety concerns once again.
