Deoria Horror: 14-Year-Old Girl Strangled by Lover Over Suspicion of Talking to Another Boy — Body Found in Pond


A shocking murder case has surfaced from Ratanpur village under the Gauri Bazaar police station area of Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh, where a 14-year-old girl was brutally killed by her lover on mere suspicion of infidelity. The accused, identified as Munshi alias Neyazuddin, allegedly strangled the girl and dumped her body in a village pond.


The incident came to light on October 14, when locals discovered the girl’s body floating in the pond. Police and forensic teams reached the spot and initiated an investigation. According to the complaint filed by the victim’s father, the girl had gone missing on October 12.


During interrogation, the accused confessed that he suspected the girl of speaking to another boy. Acting on this suspicion, he lured her to meet him, strangled her, and disposed of her body to hide his crime.


Police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail. CO Hariram Yadav confirmed that legal action is underway. The gruesome murder has left the village in deep shock, with residents demanding the harshest punishment for the culprit.
