Wanted Accused Arrested in Chitrakoot Minor Abduction and Rape Case


CHITRAKOOT: Rajapur Police have arrested Rinku Soni, a wanted accused in a case involving the abduction and rape of a minor girl. The arrest was made on September 15 under the direction of Police Superintendent Arun Kumar Singh.



A case was initially registered on August 12 after police received information that the accused had lured the minor, stolen her money, and raped her. Authorities have now applied additional charges under the stringent POCSO Act and the SC/ST Act. The investigation is ongoing.

Bidar (Karnataka): A shocking case of cruelty has emerged from Adarsh Colony, Bidar city, where a 7-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by her stepmother, who pushed her from the terrace of a third-floor building. The victim, Saanvi, was taken upstairs on August 27 by her stepmother Radha under the pretext of playing a game. Once on the terrace, Radha allegedly pushed the child to her death. Initially, the incident was dismissed as an accident, and Saanvi’s father Siddhant lodged an accidental death complaint the following day. CCTV footage reveals truth On September 12, a neighbor shared CCTV footage showing Radha’s suspicious movements with the child before her death.
