Sikar Honeytrap Gang Busted: Mastermind & Accomplice Arrested for ₹12.9 Lakh Extortion

The Dhod police in Sikar have arrested two women, including the mastermind of a honeytrap gang, for duping and extorting ₹12.90 lakh from a 64-year-old man. Both accused were sent to jail today.

SHO Rakesh Kumar Meena confirmed the arrest of mastermind Renuka Chaudhary (30), daughter of Bajranglal, resident of Ghassu Ka Bas, and her accomplice Subita (37), wife of Surjaram Jat, resident of Rampura. Police have also frozen Renuka’s bank account.

According to the complaint filed by victim Ramkaran (64) on August 30, he had come in contact with Renuka through Facebook 15–20 days earlier. Renuka made frequent video calls to him and later introduced Subita’s daughter via Instagram. Soon after, the girl visited Ramkaran at his farmhouse, but within minutes, Renuka arrived with accomplices, assaulted him, and snatched a gold ring, a gold chain, and ₹25,000 in cash. Later, Renuka used a stamped signature to transfer ₹12.90 lakh into her account.

Police revealed that Renuka had previously trapped and extorted lakhs from a government doctor in the Laxmangarh police station area. In this case too, she spotted Ramkaran’s resort and conspired with Subita to lure and blackmail him.

Both women, who had been absconding, were tracked down at Dhod Square today and arrested. They have now been remanded to jail.
