Narrow Escape at Lucknow Airport: Indigo Flight 6E 2111 Aborted Takeoff with 151 Onboard, Including Dimple Yadav


Lucknow – A major accident was narrowly averted on Saturday morning when Indigo flight 6E 2111, bound for Delhi, failed to take off from Lucknow airport.


At 10:55 AM, just before reaching the end of the runway, the captain applied emergency brakes and safely stopped the aircraft. The flight, scheduled to depart at 11:00 AM, had 151 passengers, including Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav and other party leaders.


Passengers were later shifted to another aircraft for their journey to Delhi. The original flight, expected to land at 12:10 PM, was grounded for technical inspection.


Indigo confirmed the incident and stated that engineers are examining possible mechanical faults or thrust issues. Though passengers experienced panic during the incident, all are safe.
