Muzaffarnagar Shock: Brother Returns from Dubai, Attacks Sister’s In-Laws with Sticks After Assault Allegation



Muzaffarnagar: A family dispute in Bagowali, under Nai Mandi police station limits, escalated into violence when a man, furious over his sister being beaten, allegedly stormed her in-laws’ house and attacked them with sticks and rods.


According to reports, the accused had recently returned from Dubai after learning about the alleged assault on his sister. A fierce clash broke out between the two sides, with lathis and rods being used. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera.


Police confirmed that a case has been registered at Nai Mandi Police Station against the accused under relevant sections, and further legal action is underway.

  Barabanki (UP) – A bizarre case from Lonikatra police station area has left locals stunned. Two friends, Anup and Pappu, working in the same private company in Ahmedabad, allegedly exchanged wives. The matter escalated to the extent of court marriage. Pappu alleged that Anup kept his wife Savita with him for the past four months and pressured him to marry Anup’s wife. He even claims he was given ₹10,000 for this arrangement. Anup later performed a court marriage with Pappu’s wife. Meanwhile, Anup’s wife accused him of domestic violence and said she was forced to live with Pappu. She alleged she was told, “Now you two should live together like husband and wife.” Police confirmed both sides failed to reach a compromise. The Bengaluru Police have arrested a techie, Jedrela Jacob Aroop, on charges of cheating, caste-based abuse, assault and mental harassment of his wife. The arrest was made by the DCRE West Division police following a complaint filed by the victim. According to the police, Jacob had been living with his wife in Bengaluru for the past two years. His wife was employed in a reputed private company and earned a salary running into several lakhs of rupees. As Jacob was unemployed, it is alleged that she quit her job and supported him in securing employment. After the birth of their child, Jacob allegedly subjected his wife to caste-based abuse and physical and mental harassment. The complaint further states that he assaulted her in a manner that could have caused a miscarriage.
