Meerut Violence: Youth Stabbed to Death During Ganesh Visarjan Procession, Two Accused Named

 


Meerut (U.P.): Tragedy struck during Ganesh idol immersion in Sardhana when Bobby Gautam was fatally stabbed amid loud DJ music, his cries for help drowned out by the sound system.


Police say the assault followed an old dispute at a local gym between Bobby and the accused. The incident occurred late at night as two groups clashed during the procession. Bobby, stabbed in the chest, was rushed to hospital but died during treatment.


An FIR has been registered at Sardhana Police Station against Shekhar, Abhishek and others. Police have already arrested two suspects and detained two more for questioning.


Superintendent of Police said both parties were acquainted and belong to the same community. Video evidence from the scene is being examined, and further legal action is underway.

Two Agniveer Soldiers Killed in Nashik Artillery Training Explosion, One Injured

  In a tragic incident at the Nashik Artillery Centre in Maharashtra, two Agniveer soldiers lost their lives when a shell exploded during a training exercise. The explosion, which occurred around noon on Thursday at the Shingwe Bahula firing range, happened while loading an artillery shell.  The deceased soldiers have been identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). Both were rushed to MH Hospital, Deolali, but were pronounced dead due to severe injuries caused by shell fragments. A third soldier is currently receiving treatment at an army hospital.  The jawans were recruits under the Army’s Agniveer scheme, and investigations are underway by both the police and the army to determine the cause of the explosion. A case has been registered at the Deolali Camp Police Station.
