Meerut Shocker: Newlywed Couple’s Street Fight Turns into Viral Spectacle Outside Court!

Meerut witnessed a dramatic altercation on Monday afternoon when a newlywed couple clashed publicly outside the courthouse near the Civil Lines police station.

Eyewitnesses captured the high-voltage drama on their mobile phones, showing the wife repeatedly assaulting her husband in the middle of the road. In the viral video, the woman can be seen grabbing her husband by the collar and throat, slapping him multiple times, and even biting his hand as stunned bystanders looked on.

Police said the couple, identified as Ishu from the Medical Police Station area and Dinesh from Partapur, Delhi Road, had married barely four months ago. However, their relationship soured soon after, with both parties filing cases against each other.

Reports claim Dinesh allegedly demanded dowry and threw Ishu out of the house within a week of marriage. Ishu has also accused him of instigating his brother to attempt rape. On the other hand, Dinesh has told police that his wife is having an extra-marital affair.

The clash broke out when the two encountered each other at the court premises. Witnesses said Ishu even climbed onto the bonnet of Dinesh’s car in a desperate attempt to stop him. When he finally halted, the heated confrontation unfolded right outside the Meerut Development Authority office.

Civil Line police intervened and took both into custody. Ishu was medically examined, and injuries were found on her body. Based on her complaint, police have registered an assault case against Dinesh. The viral video has now sparked intense discussion on social media.
