Meerut: ACM Office Peon Caught Red-Handed Taking ₹5,000 Bribe



In Meerut, the Anti-Corruption Team on Monday raided the ACM Fourth Office and arrested peon Ranveer while accepting a bribe of ₹5,000. Officials said Ranveer had allegedly demanded money from a complainant, Santarpal, for office-related work.


Acting on the complaint, the team laid a trap and caught him red-handed. The accused has been taken to Civil Lines police station for questioning.

Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening. Police identified the accused as Pappu Lal, a resident of Gajraula, Pilibhit. He had been living at his in-laws’ house for the past ten days.
