Jaipur Horror: Son Beats Mother to Death Over Gas Cylinder, Wi-Fi Row — Video Goes Viral
A shocking incident from Kardhani, Jaipur has surfaced, where Naveen Singh (31) brutally assaulted his mother, Santosh Devi (51), leading to her death.
The dispute reportedly began when Santosh Devi asked Naveen to replace an empty gas cylinder, which escalated after an argument over the Wi-Fi connection. In a viral video, Naveen is seen striking his mother with a stick while his father, Laxman Singh (a Delhi Police constable), and sister tried in vain to stop him.
Santosh Devi was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to 12 severe injuries, including fatal head wounds.
Police arrested Naveen on Tuesday. His father demanded the death penalty, saying: “He took the life of the mother who gave birth to him and destroyed our family.”
Investigations revealed Naveen had a history of drug abuse, unemployment, and violent behaviour. His wife left him in 2019, filing a dowry case in Bulandshahr, and a warrant was already issued against him.
The family was preparing for the daughter’s wedding in February 2026, which has now been shattered by the tragedy.
(The incident happened around 2 PM on Monday 15 September 2025 in Arun Vihar Colony. )
