Hamirpur Outrage: Youth Beaten With Slippers in Public for ‘Roaming’ With Girlfriend, Video Sparks Anger

 


Hamirpur (U.P.): A shocking case of street assault has surfaced from Jalalpur Road, Rath Kotwali area, where a young man was thrashed with slippers by his girlfriend’s family members in full public view.


Eyewitnesses said the youth was walking hand-in-hand with the girl when her relatives caught him, dragged him aside and repeatedly struck him with slippers, even as he fell to the ground. Bystanders reportedly watched silently, filming the incident instead of intervening.


A video clip of the assault has gone viral on social media, drawing condemnation over public apathy and mob justice.


Hamirpur police confirmed the episode and said an inquiry is underway. “Appropriate legal action will follow based on the investigation,” officials stated.

Agra Woman Threatens Suicide, Levels Allegations Against Police – Officials Call Claims False

  Agra: A serious dispute has emerged between a local woman and Trans Yamuna Police. The complainant, Sarju Yadav of Kalindi Vihar, alleged that police ignored a theft case at her house and behaved indecently with her. She claimed that if justice is not delivered, she may take her own life, holding the station staff and Inspector-in-Charge responsible. She also accused suspended inspector Rajkumar Goswami, earlier linked to her case, of misconduct. Police, however, have given a different version.
