Bengaluru Woman Brutally Beaten on Avenue Road; Two Arrested Following Viral Video


Bengaluru: A shocking incident unfolded on the busy Avenue Road in Bengaluru’s city market area took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, where a woman was dragged on the road and brutally beaten by a group of men. The horrifying act was captured by onlookers on video, which has now gone viral, sparking widespread outrage on social media.


The video shows a man, reportedly from his shop, violently dragging the woman while repeatedly kicking her. Despite the gathering crowd, no one intervened as the assault continued. The woman was seen pleading for mercy as the enraged man continued his attack.


Police have confirmed that an FIR has been registered under City Market Police Station (CR No. 196/2025) under sections 74, 76, 79, 115(2), 133, 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS. Two accused have been arrested, and further investigation is underway.


Authorities have assured strict action against the perpetrators as netizens continue to demand justice for the victim.

Two Agniveer Soldiers Killed in Nashik Artillery Training Explosion, One Injured

  In a tragic incident at the Nashik Artillery Centre in Maharashtra, two Agniveer soldiers lost their lives when a shell exploded during a training exercise. The explosion, which occurred around noon on Thursday at the Shingwe Bahula firing range, happened while loading an artillery shell.  The deceased soldiers have been identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). Both were rushed to MH Hospital, Deolali, but were pronounced dead due to severe injuries caused by shell fragments. A third soldier is currently receiving treatment at an army hospital.  The jawans were recruits under the Army’s Agniveer scheme, and investigations are underway by both the police and the army to determine the cause of the explosion. A case has been registered at the Deolali Camp Police Station.
