Meerut Police have arrested AIMIM councillors Fazal Karim, Anees, Shahid & Qasim for allegedly burning the poster of the film “Udaipur Files.”

The action follows an FIR lodged by Hindu leader Sachin Sirohi.

A complaint filed at Raipur’s Khamhardih police station has triggered major unrest within the Chhattisgarh police department. Businessman Deepak Tandon has accused State Police Service officer and Dantewada-posted DSP Kalpana Verma of blackmail, bribery and threats—allegedly carried out through a fabricated love affair. DSP Kalpana Verma, a 2016–17 batch officer and former CSP as well as DSP-ATS of Mana police station, is accused of duping the businessman of more than ₹2.5 crore on the pretext of marriage.
