Unnao Outrage: Women Publicly Beaten After Opposing Molestation, Video Sparks Anger

 



Unnao (UP) – A disturbing video has gone viral showing a youth with his shirt unbuttoned, thrashing women in public with a belt. The shocking visuals, said to be from Unnao, have triggered outrage and raised serious concerns over women’s safety.


While reports suggest the incident began after women opposed molestation, police have stated it was linked to a land dispute between two parties. Both sides have filed complaints at Kotwali Sadar police station, and cases under relevant sections have been registered.


Police said an investigation is underway and assured that necessary legal action will follow.
