A video circulating widely on social media shows a woman repeatedly striking a man with a slipper, while the man remains calm and adjusts his hairstyle. The footage has triggered a fierce online debate on gender equality and the perceived double standards in law enforcement.


Social media users have pointed out that when men assault women, the public response is to urge legal action, but when women attack men, the blame often shifts to the victim. The incident has fuelled calls for gender-neutral laws and the creation of a “Men’s Commission” to address men’s safety and legal rights.


The hashtag #पुरुषआयोग_बनाओ is trending, with many demanding dedicated helplines and legal protection for men. Advocates stress that violence, regardless of gender, is unacceptable and every case should be judged on facts, not stereotypes.

Two Agniveer Soldiers Killed in Nashik Artillery Training Explosion, One Injured

  In a tragic incident at the Nashik Artillery Centre in Maharashtra, two Agniveer soldiers lost their lives when a shell exploded during a training exercise. The explosion, which occurred around noon on Thursday at the Shingwe Bahula firing range, happened while loading an artillery shell.  The deceased soldiers have been identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). Both were rushed to MH Hospital, Deolali, but were pronounced dead due to severe injuries caused by shell fragments. A third soldier is currently receiving treatment at an army hospital.  The jawans were recruits under the Army’s Agniveer scheme, and investigations are underway by both the police and the army to determine the cause of the explosion. A case has been registered at the Deolali Camp Police Station.
