Rare Griffon Vulture Collapses Mid-Air in Hamirpur Due to Heatwave

 



A rare Eurasian Griffon vulture, usually found in the Himalayan hills, was spotted in Hamirpur after it fainted mid-flight and fell to the ground due to extreme heat.


The Griffon, listed among endangered species, is known for its massive wingspan that can stretch up to 3 metres. Wildlife experts say the incident highlights the growing threat of rising temperatures to vulnerable bird species.
