Nagpur Horror: Man Ties Wife’s Body to Bike After Hit-and-Run, No One Stops to Help

 


Nagpur – In a heart-wrenching incident on Raksha Bandhan (August 9), a 35-year-old man, Amit Yadav, was forced to tie his wife’s lifeless body to his bike after she was run over by a speeding truck on the Nagpur-Jabalpur National Highway.


Amit and his wife, Gyarsi, were travelling from Nagpur’s Lonara to Karanpur in Madhya Pradesh when a truck hit them near Morphata, knocking Gyarsi onto the road before running her over. The truck driver fled, and despite Amit’s pleas, no passerby stopped to help.


With no assistance, he began his journey home with her body until police intercepted him and sent the remains for post-mortem at Indira Gandhi Medical College. A case of accidental death has been filed, with further action pending the autopsy report.

Two Agniveer Soldiers Killed in Nashik Artillery Training Explosion, One Injured

  In a tragic incident at the Nashik Artillery Centre in Maharashtra, two Agniveer soldiers lost their lives when a shell exploded during a training exercise. The explosion, which occurred around noon on Thursday at the Shingwe Bahula firing range, happened while loading an artillery shell.  The deceased soldiers have been identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). Both were rushed to MH Hospital, Deolali, but were pronounced dead due to severe injuries caused by shell fragments. A third soldier is currently receiving treatment at an army hospital.  The jawans were recruits under the Army’s Agniveer scheme, and investigations are underway by both the police and the army to determine the cause of the explosion. A case has been registered at the Deolali Camp Police Station.
