Mansa Tragedy: Brick Kiln Wall Collapses, Elderly Farmer Crushed to Death



An elderly man lost his life in Punjab’s Mansa district after a brick kiln godown wall collapsed in Jawaharke village due to rain. The victim, identified as Jagjivan Singh, was passing on his bicycle when the wall suddenly fell, burying him.


CCTV footage captured the incident. Locals rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Villagers alleged that despite repeated warnings about the weak condition of the wall, the brick kiln owner ignored the issue.


Police confirmed that an investigation has been launched, and CCTV footage is being examined.

Agra Woman Threatens Suicide, Levels Allegations Against Police – Officials Call Claims False

  Agra: A serious dispute has emerged between a local woman and Trans Yamuna Police. The complainant, Sarju Yadav of Kalindi Vihar, alleged that police ignored a theft case at her house and behaved indecently with her. She claimed that if justice is not delivered, she may take her own life, holding the station staff and Inspector-in-Charge responsible. She also accused suspended inspector Rajkumar Goswami, earlier linked to her case, of misconduct. Police, however, have given a different version.
