Man in Saffron Lungi Assaulted at Lucknow Eatery Over Non-Veg Meal

 


Lucknow – In a disturbing incident, Dinesh Sharma was assaulted at a restaurant in Lucknow for eating non-vegetarian food while wearing a saffron lungi.


The attacker, identified as Narendra Singh, was seen abusing and slapping Sharma. The video of the incident has gone viral, sparking outrage.



Police are yet to issue an official statement on the matter.

Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening. Police identified the accused as Pappu Lal, a resident of Gajraula, Pilibhit. He had been living at his in-laws’ house for the past ten days. On the day of the incident, his father-in-law and mother-in-law were at work, while Pappu, his wife Jaswanti (21), and her younger brother Tej Prakash (6) were at home. Around 4:30 p.m., after an argument, Pappu attacked Jaswanti with a stone, killing her on the spot. When Tej Prakash witnessed the assault and raised an alarm, he too was fatally attacked.
