Fatehpur Shocker: Pay Bribe, Get Work Done, Then Make It Viral – New Trend Exposes Govt Office Corruption

 


A fresh case of corruption has surfaced in Fatehpur’s electricity department, where a clerk at the SDO office was caught on camera accepting a bribe.


According to reports, a consumer paid the clerk to get his work completed. Once the task was done, the consumer recorded a video of the bribe transaction and made it viral on social media.


The video has triggered outrage, prompting the Superintending Engineer to order an investigation. Locals expressed anger, saying bribery has become routine in government offices.


Officials and media outlets have stressed that beyond making such videos viral, timely complaints and strict action are necessary to curb corruption.

A 26-year-old soldier from Prayagraj has been arrested for murdering his minor girlfriend after she insisted that he marry her. Police said the accused, identified as Harshvardhan Singh alias Deepak, strangled and stabbed the girl before burying her body in an orchard in Lakhranwa village. Greater Noida – In a shocking incident in Roza Jalalpur under Bisrakh police station, a 22-year-old man brutally killed his wife and six-year-old brother-in-law with a stone before hanging himself on Monday evening. Police identified the accused as Pappu Lal, a resident of Gajraula, Pilibhit. He had been living at his in-laws’ house for the past ten days. On the day of the incident, his father-in-law and mother-in-law were at work, while Pappu, his wife Jaswanti (21), and her younger brother Tej Prakash (6) were at home.
