Blue Drum Horror in Alwar: Man Found Dead, Wife & Children Missing
Alwar, Rajasthan – A chilling case reminiscent of Meerut’s “Muskaan murder” has emerged from Adarsh Colony under Kishangarhbas police station. On Sunday evening, locals discovered the body of Hansraj alias Suraj, a brick kiln worker from UP’s Shahjahanpur, stuffed inside a blue drum on the terrace of his rented house. His throat had been slit, and salt was sprinkled on the body, allegedly to hasten decomposition.
Hansraj had moved into the house just a month and a half ago with his wife Sunita and three children – Harshal, Nandini, and Golu. Shockingly, they are now missing, along with the landlord’s son Jitendra, who had arranged the accommodation.
The gruesome discovery was made after the landlord’s wife noticed a foul smell. Police recovered the body sealed in the drum with a stone on top. Viral visuals from the scene showed officers removing the cover while shielding their faces.
According to police, Hansraj was addicted to alcohol and often drank with Jitendra. The sudden disappearance of both families has intensified suspicion. An FIR has been registered, forensic teams have collected evidence, and a manhunt is underway.
The macabre murder has triggered comparisons to the infamous Meerut drum case earlier this year, sparking outrage and fear.
