Agra Woman Threatens Suicide, Levels Allegations Against Police – Officials Call Claims False

  Agra: A serious dispute has emerged between a local woman and Trans Yamuna Police. The complainant, Sarju Yadav of Kalindi Vihar, alleged that police ignored a theft case at her house and behaved indecently with her. She claimed that if justice is not delivered, she may take her own life, holding the station staff and Inspector-in-Charge responsible. She also accused suspended inspector Rajkumar Goswami, earlier linked to her case, of misconduct. Police, however, have given a different version. On 19 August 2025, when Sarju Yadav visited the station to inquire about her case (Crime No. 370/24), officials informed her that the matter had been closed in January.
