Prime Minister Modi Calls for New Dreams and Unity to Achieve a Developed Bharat by 2047
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on Indians to dedicate the next 25 years to the country's development, envisioning a strong and prosperous Bharat by 2047. Reflecting on India's progress and potential, he emphasized the need for unity and dedication.
In a note penned during his flight back to Delhi after a 45-hour meditation retreat in Kanniyakumari, PM Modi urged the nation to build a strong foundation for future generations. "We must see Bharat’s development in a global context and understand our internal capabilities. Bharat's strengths must be nurtured and utilized for global benefit," he stated.
Drawing inspiration from his meditation, Modi wrote, "Amidst peace and silence, my mind constantly thought about Bharat's bright future and goals. Citing Swami Vivekananda, he emphasized Bharat’s historical purpose and mission. "Bharat has been a cradle of ideas for thousands of years. We have never considered our acquisitions as personal wealth, which is why 'Idam-na-mama' (this is not mine) is intrinsic to Bharat's character," he noted.
The Prime Minister highlighted India's governance model as an example for many countries. "Bharat’s development trajectory fills us with pride and reminds 140 crore citizens of their responsibilities. We need to dream new dreams, make them a reality, and live them," he wrote.
Reflecting on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Modi described it as a humbling experience filled with emotions and energy. "The elections are the first in the Amrit Kaal. Throughout my campaign, I felt the trust and affection of the people," he added.
Modi shared his spiritual experience in Kanniyakumari, expressing gratitude for the values instilled in him from birth. "The land of Kanniyakumari and the inspiration of Swami Vivekananda made meditation effortless," he wrote.
He emphasized Bharat's unique identity from Kashmir to Kanniyakumari and highlighted the confluence of ideologies at Kanniyakumari, which inspire nation-building. "The grand statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar and the Vivekananda Rock Memorial stand as symbols of unity and purpose," Modi added.
Discussing Bharat's role on the global stage, he said, "Bharat’s welfare benefits the world’s progress. Our independence inspired many nations to achieve freedom, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, our efforts provided courage to many."
"Bharat’s Digital India campaign is now a global example of using technology for empowerment and transparency. The world is witnessing the democratization of technology in Bharat," he stated.
Modi called for a broader approach to reform, aligning with the goal of a developed Bharat by 2047. "We must work quickly in all four directions: Speed, Scale, Scope, and Standards. Our reforms should embrace a vision of reform, perform, and transform," he noted.
He encouraged reassessing outdated beliefs and fostering positivity. "Success blossoms in the lap of positivity. We must redefine our heritage in a modern context while embracing ancient values," he said.
Concluding his note, Modi reiterated his faith in Bharat's potential. "We must dedicate the next 25 years solely for the nation. Our efforts will create a strong foundation for future generations, taking Bharat to new heights," he affirmed.
Prime Minister Modi’s call to action is a clarion call for unity and dedication, aiming for a prosperous and developed Bharat by 2047.
