Lucknow Horror: Man Beaten to Death by Girlfriend’s Brothers Over Love Affair


Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking case of violence over a love affair, 27-year-old Ali Abbas was brutally beaten to death by his girlfriend’s brothers in the Saadatganj area of the city. Police have arrested three accused in connection with the murder.


According to DCP (West) Vishwajeet Srivastava, the incident occurred on Monday night when the accused — Himalaya Prajapati (26), Sonu Prajapati (27), and Saurabh Prajapati (30) — called Abbas to their home under the pretext of discussing their sister’s marriage. Ali and the girl had been in a relationship for four years, which the family strongly opposed.


Once he arrived, the accused allegedly attacked him with sticks, leaving him with severe head injuries. Later, they dumped him in an alley. The victim’s family rushed to the spot and tried to take him to a trauma centre, but he died on the way early Tuesday morning.


Following a complaint by Abbas’s father, Arif Zameer, police registered a case of murder under IPC Section 302 against the three brothers. All have been arrested, and forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime scene. Investigations are ongoing.

Two Agniveer Soldiers Killed in Nashik Artillery Training Explosion, One Injured

  In a tragic incident at the Nashik Artillery Centre in Maharashtra, two Agniveer soldiers lost their lives when a shell exploded during a training exercise. The explosion, which occurred around noon on Thursday at the Shingwe Bahula firing range, happened while loading an artillery shell.  The deceased soldiers have been identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). Both were rushed to MH Hospital, Deolali, but were pronounced dead due to severe injuries caused by shell fragments. A third soldier is currently receiving treatment at an army hospital.  The jawans were recruits under the Army’s Agniveer scheme, and investigations are underway by both the police and the army to determine the cause of the explosion. A case has been registered at the Deolali Camp Police Station.
